The University has agreed to pay a part of the health insurance for qualified graduate students who are employed. The University cost will be passed on to the grants and contracts when graduate students are employed on sponsored projects.

Qualifications will be as follows:

1. The appointee must be carrying at least six credit hours and have an appointment of at least 37.5% FTE.
2. The appointment must be for at least one full semester.

The amount to be included in the proposal for each qualified graduate student will be $267 per year. Since current awards have not been budgeted for this cost there will be a delay until January 1, 1991, in actually charging projects. Proposals should include the charge immediately.
