 Departmental Visits

FIRST VISITS ...
Indiana University Office of Grants Administration staff will visit you in your office when requested to provide hands-on training for a variety of topics related to awards.  These “First Visits” are provided when departments have questions regarding a particular award or agency, or when a new fiscal officer has been assigned.  At the first visit Office of Grants Administration staff will go over agency guidelines, assist with a general overview of the Financial Information System (FIS) and discuss tools available to the department faculty and staff. The first visit will give grants administration staff and departmental staff a chance to meet each other, to set up guidelines and expectations, and to establish a team environment for the successful completion of the award.
